The Process:
PROPOSAL
We are a full-service custom design and print studio. We first create a complimentary project proposal based on the scope of custom design, and your print specifications. The best place to start is by filling out our contact form.
YOUR VISION
Once couples sign on with Tying the Knots, we get to know more about your vision via phone consultation or email consult form. Do you prefer soft colors, bold colors, are you pet people, world traveling people… the lovely details that inspire your custom designs.
PRODUCTION
We create hand-drawn and hand-painted proofs for each of your cards, providing unlimited revisions, pairing with fonts of your choice. Once our proofs are finalized, we professionally print your cards on archival, watercolor cardstock. We then mail to you or directly to your guests.
What is Included
Working with Tying the Knots includes a partnership, helping our couples navigate the at times daunting wedding invitation process with intuitive forms, swift communication, and unlimited revisions.
Paper and Envelope Sample Package
Our couples will receive a complimentary paper and envelope sample package in the mail shortly after signing on with Tying the Knots, a sampling of the quality of printing, assortment of papers, as well as our most popular wedding envelope colors.
Custom Artwork
The custom artwork process should be one of the most enjoyable parts of the wedding planning process! We provide our couples with hand-painted watercolor artwork incorporating all of the thoughtful details that shaped their love story.
Paper Heirlooms
Our invitations are meant to be cherished. They are carefully handcrafted using the highest quality printers and papers, creating cards that each look like an original watercolor painting.
