OQ Farm Wedding Invitation Magic

Nicole and Andrew had a wedding wish: a wedding invitation suite and day of the wedding cards that captured their love story, as well as their wedding venue in picturesque Vermont, painted in delicate watercolor.

Working together, we formulated a plan on what to include in the invitation suite: an invitation featuring the iconic red barn and fields with horses, a Vermont-shaped RSVP card, a custom wedding crest, and a wedding map. Each piece features delicate watercolor renderings of the venue and surrounding landscapes such as the farmhouse and ceremony meadow, playful portraits of the barn’s resident horses and sheep, and soft map vignettes marking the important locations for guests.

When it came time to develop the day of the wedding cards and signage, Nicole and Andrew asked if we could create a “Travel Wall” featuring their travels together which we then set the guests’ names on, so each destination was a distinct table. We created a total of 10 unique illustrations featuring beautiful landscape vistas from The Redwoods to Austria with a few paintings featuring Nicole and Andrew holding hands.

The result was a cohesive, artful suite that felt personal, that invited guests into Nicole and Andrew’s world before they even arrived at the farm.
