Forest Weddings

Ruthie and Alex asked us to capture the historic beauty of Maine’s 1774 Inn and natural surroundings for their custom wedding invitations. We were delighted to design forest-inspired watercolors featuring the inn, the lake, wildflowers, and the tall pines that surround the property. From the very start, Ruthie knew that flowers would play a huge roll in the design so we incorporated soft florals every chance we could. The painting of the save the date field was repurposed for the reception menus and the inn painted for the invitations was repurposed for the welcome sign. Everything in this project feels cohesive, yet whimsical, the perfect setting for a fairy tale wedding.
